Any written homework in my subjects areas must be done on loose leaf. Social Studies - Monday - Due Wed - "The Southeast" ws. Monday - Thursday - Study for Friday's quiz on "The Southeast" You will need to know all the required information from the ws. Religion- Due Wed - Read Ch. 1 of the book. On p. 30 answer 1-8 With question 5 - 8 you will need to match the word and its correct definition. Watch for spelling errors. Next Week - There will be a quiz on Ch. 1 so begin studying for the quiz. Grammar - Due Thursday - p. 321 ex 3 & 4. Any other work will be assigned in class and the due dates established at that point. Reading - Due Tuesday - Read p. 42 of the text and complete the p. 4 ws. Grade 6 As with any subject, nightly study is strongly encouraged for quiz and test preparation. Social Studies - Monday - Wed - Study the Ch. 1, sec 2 notes for Thursday's quiz. Thursday - Due Friday - Read pp19 - 23 of the text then complete the p.11 ws Religion - Monday & Tuesday - Study for Wed's quiz on, "The Bible Reveals God's saving Love". Social Studies-
1) Study the map & notes on "the Northeast" for Wed's quiz. 2) Due Tuesday - Complete "The Northeast" capitals page Grammar- Any work will be started in class and the due dates established at that point. Reading- 1) Due Wed - 4 fact Venn Diagram on the "Wise Old Woman" story. Compare her to the evil lord of her village. Use the guidelines from your notebook. Handwriting- 1) Due Thursday - Students will be asked to copy 5 sentences in cursive from their reading book. Religion (added 9/13) 1) Due Thursday - Students will create and answer a 10 question multiple choice quiz on " A Look Inside the Bible". Answers can me circled of highlighted. A practice question was completed in class as a model for expected work. Grade 6 Homework Social Studies - 1) Review the Ch. 1, sec, 1 for Tuesday's quiz. (announced last week). Study both the notes and vocabulary. 2) Due Wed - Read pp 14 - 19 then complete the p. 8 ws. Religion - Review the "A Look Inside The Bible" notes for Thursday's quiz. Study both the notes and vocabulary terms. Grades 5 & 6 All subjects
The first two days will include basic orientation to the class and the distribution of textbooks. The textbooks must be covered by Friday September, 8th, Friday - Both classes - power points will be discussed on "Note taking" and "Types of Questions". Grade 5 - Summer reading projects are due on 9/8/2017. |
